Mondays and Fridays are pay-what-you-wish at the restored 1887 Eldridge Street Synagogue, the first great house of worship built by Eastern European Jews in America, with its Kiki Smith stained-glass east window. Advance registration is encouraged; closed on major Jewish holidays.
