Thursdays are free all day at Wave Hill, the public garden on a bluff above the Hudson in Riverdale — the pergola overlook facing the Palisades, flower and aquatic gardens, a conservatory and the Glyndor Gallery’s exhibitions. Last entry is half an hour before closing; galleries and café close a little earlier than the grounds.
