On the first Sunday of the month, admission to the 9/11 Museum is free for anyone who lives, works or studies in the New York area — the slurry wall, the Last Column and the In Memoriam galleries at bedrock beneath the memorial pools. Advance reservation and ID are required. The outdoor memorial plaza is free every day.
